Get your pool ready

aqupool will be most effective in a pool that has been cleaned and chemically balanced prior to the first application. If you are not sure how big your pool is please use the following form:

We recommend you backwash your sand filter or clean your cartridge filter and turn off your chlorinator prior to application.

Take aqupool out of the box, cut along top of both compartments and simply pour the contents into your pool.

     

Use your pool brush to sweep and mix the aqupool  product around the pool until dissolved. This process should only take a few minutes as aqupool is fast dissolving. Once all dissolved, it's safe to turn your on  your chlorinator.

 

 

What's in the box?

When your box arrives you will find it contains a 2 compartment bag of Aqupool, test strips and a trifold brochure with a colour chart.      

 

                          

 Testing your pool

• Take a sample of water from your pool in a clean container.
• Immerse the test strip for 2 seconds, Remove with pads face up.  Shake once to remove excess water
• You may notice that some of the colours change.
• Compare the test strip to the colour chart provided.
• The chart will indicate if an application of aqupool is required as well as provide readings and advice for chlorine concentration and ph range. As a general rule, apply aqupool on a monthly basis and only skip or reduce number of boxes if all 3 parameters, ie Alk, TH and CyA are all in the high range.

We recommend you test your pool around the same time each month.
